Dinner at der Meierhof

We are so excited to host a dinner at the gorgeous location Der Meierhof!

Join us for a great opportunity to enjoy an evening of delicious Syrian food!  If you are new to Food for Thought, our initiative is simple: We organize dinner parties in which Syrian women prepare an authentic Syrian menu, we then invite women from the Austrian and Expat community, and together we sit down for dinner.  Our aim is to allow women who have sought refuge the opportunity to integrate into their new community in a social and relaxed environment. Instead of bringing the traditional dinner party gifts of flowers, wine or chocolate we encourage guests to make a cash contribution to help cover the cost of ingredients. If you want to show your gratitude to the Syrian women, who have put a considerable amount of time and effort into preparing dinner for us, please feel free to contribute a gratuity.

Although our events are normally women only, this event is a family style one so everyone is welcome.
